Lynx Team Up with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Twin Cities to Host Back to School Night
Fans are encouraged to donate school supplies to children in need from Big Brother Big Sisters of the Greater Twin Cities As part of Tuesday night's back-to-school celebration, the Lynx and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Twin Cities will conduct a school supply drive. Fans who bring a new school supply item to the Big Brothers Big Sisters table in the main lobby will receive one complimentary ticket to that evening's game. Suggested items include backpacks, folders, notebooks, pens, pencils, crayons, markers, rulers, scissors and calculators. Free face painting and balloon animals will also be available in the main lobby to students of all ages in attendance. Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Twin Cities (BBBS) is the area's oldest mentoring organization. BBBS matches young people with adult volunteer mentors to build long-term, one-to-one relationships. Volunteer mentors provide friendship, emotional support and hope to young people. Visit www.bigstwincities.org for more information. Back to School Night tickets start at only $10 and can be purchased at the Target Center Box Office or online at www.lynxbasketball.com.
